Which Fan Base Overvalues Their Team More: Knights or Gators?

Most college football fan bases think more highly of themselves than the general public, but Gators & Knights fans take it to another level.

Ok, Miami should receive an honorable mention there too I guess.

Gator fans will claim that UCF has to be the answer because they "claimed a national title" in 2017.

UCF fans will point to the fact that NO MATTER THEIR RECORD, Gator fans always believe, without fail, their program would whoop the Knights. They always believe their program is one year away from dominating the SEC the way they did with Spurrier and Meyer as their head coach.

UCF fans will claim that they don't overvalue themselves, they've been to 3 New Year's 6 Bowls since 2013. Won 2 of them. 2 undefeated seasons. And now have Gus Malzahn, which amplifies that credibility.

Florida fans will point to recent success or even being able to attend SEC title games with the awfulness that was Jim McElwain.

The truth is, both sides are right. Both overvalue themselves, but that's why we love them. It's the charm that only CFB can create.

And the real beauty is, in 2024, we'll get an answer of which is actually better.
