The UCF Basketball team is 18-5 on the season and head coach Johnny Dawkins joined Open Mike and he hit on a few key points during the interview.
One of those is the improvement he's seen from big man Tacko Fall not just on the season, but also the impact he had in the team's previous game against South Florida, "He's being more assertive throughout the game. I felt his presence the entire night. I thought he started off aggressive both offensively and defensively and he stayed that way the entire game. When he plays like that, we're tough because he has such a unique presence out there with his size and ability to make plays blocking shots, rebounding and scoring."
Johnny Dawkins has his team in a good position to make the NCAA tournament but he doesn't want them looking ahead, "We don't even think about that. We only look at the game in front of us. It's always about the next game, next opponent, not about what's going to happen in the future because that stuff will take care of itself."
