Ahh, the beauty of hindsight. While it usually makes us look back and regret decisions we've made, sometimes, when we're lucky, it does the exact opposite. As of right now in Gainesville, Gators fans are riding high with wins over Mississippi State and LSU in back-to-back weeks. The same can not be said for UCLA and Nebraska fans.
When they needed a coach after firing Jimmy Mac, the Gators called to gauge interest from Scott Frost after Frost's magical run with UCF, but his 'Almi' Nebraska was already courting him. Then, it was on to the offensive guru, Chip Kelly. They rode the private jet, thought they had that hire in the bag, but in the end, Kelly chose to go back out West.
Then, seemingly down to their final option, they hired the coach of Miss State and a former Gator assistant, Dan Mullen. Gators fans were disappointed they didn't they the guys at the top of their list...I bet they're not disappointed now. But I guess we'll let the vote bear that out...
